We do not use marketing or advertising cookies.
We do not use profiling-based advertising for users whom we know or reasonably believe to be under 18. We may also apply reduced personalisation or reduced tracking for users aged 16 and 17 in order to support higher levels of privacy and safety.
3. Legal basis and consent model
In jurisdictions such as the EU/EEA/UK, non-essential cookies or similar technologies are used only after valid consent where law requires that standard.
Strictly necessary cookies may still be used without prior consent where they are genuinely required for a service explicitly requested by the user or for core technical operation.

Czechs Online may rely on third-party services for infrastructure, embedded content, payment flows, analytics, anti-spam or other operational features.
When those services set or read cookies or similar identifiers, their own privacy notices may also apply. The fact that a third party is involved should be disclosed clearly in implementation.
6. Cookie duration
- session cookies, which expire when the browser session ends
- persistent cookies, which remain for a defined period until expiry or deletion
Retention should be limited to what is technically and legally justified.

Where consent is required by law, we may keep a record of consent status, banner interactions, versioning and timestamp data to demonstrate compliance.
8. Browser controls

Third-party services such as payment or checkout providers may set their own cookies only when their components or hosted flows are actually loaded. If Lemon Squeezy, Stripe or embedded third-party content is activated on additional pages, this table must be updated accordingly.
